Creating community and culture sits at the core of my practice, I am motivated not simply by the act of creating, but by the opportunity to contribute (thoughtfully and meaningfully) to a larger context. My dream projects are to reimagine the potential of a space as a catalyst for connection, exchange, and transformation. I am particularly drawn to overlooked or underutilised environments, where there is an opportunity to restore relevance, reintroduce purpose, and foster a renewed cultural and social presence. Ultimately, my dream project is to create space that resonates beyond their physical form – a place that engages with the surroundings in a way that is regenerative, inclusive, and enduring.
About
Jacqui is a New Zealand-born artist based in Amsterdam whose multidisciplinary career spans creative direction in advertising, property development, and art curation. Having lived and worked across four continents Jacqui brings a culturally diverse perspective to her work as an artist, creative director and curator. Her projects are driven by a passion for art, community and creating places where people feel they belong.
Her practice brings together three complementary disciplines. As an artist, she is the source of the idea—the originating vision and blueprint from which each project unfolds. As a Creative Director, she carries that vision through the process, holding its many elements together and guiding the team towards a shared outcome. As a curator, she gives the project its visual language, shaping its atmosphere, rhythm, and emotional resonance.
